06.29.10 - ADVANTYS releases version 5.2 of the WorkflowGen BPM / Workflow software

Among multiple improvements the new release of WorkflowGen offers several new features. For example the end-users can now post comments to an open request. This new communication facility enables the workflow participants to share ideas to facilitate the completion of a process. The comments are available at the request level and also at the portal level enabling the users to quickly check the latest comments associated to all the processes they are handling. The comments are also available as a RSS feed that can be subscribed to with any RSS reader.
The 5.2 release also include new search features, additional SQL views and an update of the WorkflowGen web service API among many other improvements.

06.26.09 - ADVANTYS releases version 5.1.7 of the WorkflowGen BPM / Workflow software

Among several improvements the new release of WorkflowGen offers 2 new features. The Overdue Pre-Notification, enables notifications to be set up prior to an action coming due and the Database Scaling, allows for the use of optimized read/write distributed databases across a wide area network to improve performance and user experience. Database Scaling may be used in a single production instance, or in a web farm environment.

10.21.08 - ADVANTYS releases version 5.1 of the WorkflowGen BPM / Workflow software

Among several new features and improvements the new release of WorkflowGen offers a Web Service API. It is possible to access requests and actions data and statuses from 3rd party applications via web services in real time. The contents of the WorkflowGen portal are available as RSS feeds. Users are able to syndicate/register these feeds in any Web Portal solution or any RSS compliant tool like Outlook 2007 as well as widgets.

WorkflowGen has been totally rewritten in C#.Net 2.0 for improved performance and security as well as simplified administration. The look and feel and ergonomics have been entirely redesigned for a richer more intuitive user experience. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is easier with the integration of existing Web Services without programming.

11.29.06 - WorkflowGen supports AJAX enriched .Net Web Forms.

It is now possible to use the AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) technology with Microsoft ATLAS within the .Net Web Forms designed for WorkflowGen’s workflows.
The support of AJAX enables the organizations who are automating their processes with WorkflowGen to provide their users with an enriched more effective experience.

10.19.06 - WorkflowGen offers an easy way to add workflows to SAP.

The new WorkflowGen SAP Adapter enables the users to quickly and easily integrate SAP transactions to their processes automated with the WorkflowGen workflow software and also provides SAP with a lightweight front end for advanced workflow features.
WorkflowGen SAP Adapter simplifies the execution of SAP transactions from a WorkflowGen process or from a .Net Web Form without the need for a new middleware because it uses standard SAP API.

09.06.06 - WorkflowGen supports .Net 2 Web Forms created without programming.

This powerful new feature enables the users to design .Net 2 Web Forms for the WorkflowGen workflow software without programming. Users simply drag and drop form controls by using the interface of Visual Web Developer Express (FREE) or Visual Studio 2005. The Web Forms can then easily be used as electronic forms within WorkflowGen. The combination of WorkflowGen and Web Forms offers a no footprint, full web environment for quick and effective deployments.

04.26.06 - WorkflowGen Enables Mobile Users To Perform Workflow Actions Via PDA.

This new feature of the WorkflowGen workflow software enables the users to directly launch workflow actions from a PDA like BlackBerry (TM) or any other email clients without connection to the WorkflowGen web application. Users are notified via email when they have an action to do and then they can perform the workflow action by simply sending an email.
